England Family Ranch

England Family Ranch, nestled in the scenic South-Central South Dakota, carries a rich legacy dating back to the early 1930s. Initially focused on Hereford and registered quarter horse breeding, the ranch flourished under the dedicated care of George and Suzanne England, continuing the family's agricultural tradition. In a significant diversification move in 2007, the introduction of registered Fullblood Savanna goats paved the way for a remarkable transformation. By 2018, the entire herd had undergone DNA verification, a testament to the ranch's commitment to breeding excellence. Presently, the ranch proudly oversees a flock of approximately 150 DNA-verified Savanna does, characterized by an intriguing fusion of multiple bloodlines. In addition, a thriving 100-head herd of Fullblood Syfan Spanish does, strategically crossbred with Savanna bucks, presents a compelling proposition for commercial herds seeking optimal heterosis. Not stopping there, England Ranch also accommodates a flourishing Black Angus cattle herd and a dynamic pasture poultry operation, featuring layers and broilers. Visitors to the ranch are warmly welcomed, as the Englands take pleasure in sharing their wealth of knowledge and South Dakota hospitality. Their relentless dedication to optimizing livestock genetics reflects in their unwavering pursuit of superior herd performance, setting a benchmark for excellence in the industry.

Cain’s Possum Trot Farm

Our farm, affectionately known as Possum Trot Farm, resides in the picturesque heart of the Ozarks, where we have devoted an entire two decades to the meticulous care of our beloved Angus Cattle and Boer Goats. It all began 23 years ago when I embarked on the gratifying journey of raising Boer Goats. Then, a pivotal moment arrived 9 years later when my husband stumbled upon an eye-opening article in the esteemed Goat Rancher magazine, extolling the remarkable attributes of Savannas. This newfound knowledge led us to acquire a percentage buck from the esteemed lineage of Kristen and AL Kosinski in Alton, with Kristen further enhancing her herd through the revered Carl Langle. The introduction of Savannas heralded a profound transformation on our farm, fortifying the resilience and vigor of our cherished animals. Notably, most of our prized herd bucks proudly boast a lineage tracing back to the esteemed Carl Landgle, encompassing a rich heritage of original imports and illustrious names such as DLR Lou, DLR Sister One, Barka Happy Jack, Then few years later we added Crane Creek Savannas, ITG C30 AKA Bo, and the adored 4C BV07F, affectionately known as Big Mike from the Heetland flush.

Weekley Farms

Under the breathtaking sunsets of Southern Illinois, Weekley Farms proudly calls Trenton its home. Nestled among the lush green grass, our mission is to raise robust goats capable of excelling in every aspect of their livelihood: from growth and fertility to kidding, raising kids, managing parasite loads, ensuring longevity, and maintaining hoof care. These goats are not coddled; we hold them to exceptionally high standards. At Weekley Farms, we also conduct reproductive work on select high-quality, proven Full-Blooded DNA’s South African Savannas. This undertaking carries its fair share of risks, yet the results continue to astound us year after year. Recently, we acquired the largest Savanna goat herd from Friendship Farms in Georgia, encompassing the Beckstead and the ITG herd, which left us in awe of the superior quality of these goats. The ITG herd boasts a DNA lineage tracing all the way back to the time of importation. Along with this acquisition, we gained access to a semen tank housing the genetic legacy of the 4 imported bucks and several other outstanding bucks cherished in the industry. With this diverse array of goats, we are poised to provide the industry with much-needed genetic diversity in the near future. Whether it's breeding DNA's Full-Bloods or optimizing our commercial stock, our ethos remains steadfast: we breed the best and cull the rest.

SUPERIOR SAVANNAS

Our remarkable journey in the Savanna industry commenced with the decision to use Savanna Buck’s over our Commercial doe’s. The results of our first kid crop left an indelible impression, fueling our passion for these magnificent animals. This passion led us to acquire 10 Fullblood Savanna Doe’s that same summer, a step that propelled our journey forward. Over the past 6 years, we have been privileged to incorporate extraordinary Fullblood Savanna Donor Doe’s into our operations, embarking on an array of remarkable embryo projects. Delving into our history, we deliberately returned to the original imported semen buck, utilizing the genetics of WWE05, JCS 35, JCS 55 “Zeus, SAVI, and NJW Green 36. The exceptional offspring resulting from these strategic crosses have deeply impressed us, propelling our commitment to consistently produce top-tier offsprings. Our continuous dedication to breeding the finest original imports for fellow breeders underscores our unwavering devotion to pushing the boundaries and achieving excellence in the industry.

Their journey with these majestic creatures began in 2004, a time when finding Savannas proved to be quite challenging. Undeterred by the obstacles, they persisted through numerous phone calls and cross-country trips in search of Fullblood Does. Their dedication paid off when they stumbled upon four Fullblood Savanna Does from Carl Langle, which became the cornerstone of their herd. Expanding their endeavor, they acquired a herd sellout from Mike and Jean Guffey MJI Herd, boasting offspring from the Heetland flush 4C BV07F and Fullblood Does out of some of the original imports to further enrich their fold. Notably, their herd is anchored by Big Mike and DLR Husani, descending from the renowned DLR Lou original import along with Big Mike, Heetland flush, and later added a buck from the ITG herd.
